Which forms can be digitized with SIMPL?
Practically all that occur in service and maintenance: service reports, maintenance and inspection logs, UVV and DGUV inspections, commissioning and acceptance protocols, time tracking, expenses and material issue. In the form builder you rebuild your existing templates digitally one to one, with fields for text, measured values, checkboxes, photos and signature.
Can we take over our existing Word and Excel templates?
Yes, in the builder you rebuild every template, usually in minutes, and in doing so you often tidy it up right away: add required fields, remove unnecessary ones. During onboarding, your personal point of contact supports you and builds the first templates together with you.
Does filling out work offline too?
Yes, completely: forms, photos and signatures are captured even without a network, in the basement, in the hall or on the construction site. As soon as there is a connection again, the app syncs automatically.
Can the customer sign on site?
Yes, directly on the technician’s smartphone or tablet. The signature is part of the report, which goes to the customer as a PDF and is filed with the job and the asset at the same time.
How does the report get to the customer?
As a PDF, generated automatically upon completion of the assignment, and customized to your company’s branding upon request. In addition, your client can access their reports at any time through the customer portal, which eliminates the need to request them via email.
What happens to the data from the forms?
They keep working: every form ends up in the asset’s history, measured values and times flow into the evaluations, and the AI searches reports for similar cases. Documentation thus becomes a data foundation instead of a PDF graveyard.
